Scaling a Real-time Health Monitoring Platform to 5 Million Active Users

A leading telemedicine company needed to modernize its remote patient monitoring application. The legacy architecture struggled with latency and server overhead when handling real-time data streams from wearable IoT devices. We rebuilt their ingestion pipeline from the ground up using microservices, WebSockets, and distributed message queues. The result was a 70% decrease in server latency and zero data-loss during peak loads.
