Microsoft Purview Implementation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Purview Implementation Specialist to help configure, deploy, and manage data governance, compliance, and protection capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure data standards and security compliance policies are met across all environments.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Microsoft Purview Data Map, Data Catalog, and Data Insights.
• Implement data classification, sensitivity labels, and data loss prevention (DLP) rules.
• Collaborate with database and cloud engineers to register and scan varied data sources.
• Design and maintain compliance and governance reports using Purview insights.
• Assist in training teams on data protection policies and search functionalities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in implementing Microsoft Purview or similar data governance catalogs.
• Solid understanding of sensitivity labels, information protection, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehouses.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-400, AZ-500) are a major plus.
